Who's V in case you've for gotten?

V is for Vinod - who is gonna kick your butt and leave his shoe in cos he has already started preparing NOW for Strongman 2010!

Farmer’s Walks

Our cylinder like implements have been re-welded up.
Not only that, we have also thickened the handles considerably for added grip strength development!
The thickened handles were a considerable challenge for our members. Because of the difficulty in gripping the weights, previous bests decreased by around 10kg and there were a few drops during the walks, nevertheless, our members did not complain and persevered through their sets.
Bryan, a freelance personal trainer, broke his farmer’s walk cherry with sets of 80kg and 90kg-a great achievement for a first timer. Indeed, at the end of the session, he said this event is arguably the hardest one he has ever done and likes it!

Yoshida having more experience with the implements also had to grit his teeth in order to complete multiple sets of 90kg.

Static Holds

With their grip already bombed out, our members then proceeded to finish the session with static holds using the same equipment. This lift is easily quantifiable and that made the training atmosphere even more competitive as members strived to outdo each other.
Again, the record of the day belongs to Yoshida with figures of 42 seconds holding a 60kg load in each hand.

Who's got 'next' on this guy?

If you think that you can take on The Bombay Bengal or The Orient Express, come on down!

But if you think you would like to learn from them and draw from their experience, then come on down too!

They have proven most happy to help our younger members along in their fitness and strength goals too.

We all get Better together!
